Established in 1997 by CEO Gary Murray, Destination Group is a leading hospitality and F&B organization in Thailand. With a primary focus on hotel ownership and operation, as well as branded restaurant management through Destination Eats and brand hostels through Collective Hospitality, Destination Group has excelled in acquiring distressed hotel assets and transforming them into prime properties. Currently, through its subsidiary Destination Resorts, the group owns and operates 1,420 hotel rooms across Thailand, with a strong presence in key markets including Bangkok, Pattaya, Phuket, Hua Hin, Krabi, and Samui. Additionally, the group operates eight renowned restaurants, including Hard Rock Café Phuket and Hooters. With headquarters in Bangkok and a dedicated team of over 500 professionals, Destination Group’s key divisions, such as finance, legal, marketing, and F&B, provide comprehensive support for efficient asset management.

Gary Murray

CEO

Gary is the founder and CEO of Destination Group Co. LTD, with 30 years of hotel development, operations, and ownership experience.

He has managed the company’s growth into one of Asia’s largest hospitality companies. Gary has an MBA from Dalhousie University and a BA from University of Western Ontario, Canada. He has developed 4- and 5-star resorts overseas and in Thailand under the Hilton, Starwood, Swissotel and Novotel brands & owns and operates lifestyle F&B brands.
